All attendees,
speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors are expected to adhere to the following principles to
ensure a positive
and enriching conference experience for everyone.
1. Respect & Cultural Sensitivity
- Participants must conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner at all
times.
- All interactions should reflect the values of mutual respect, inclusivity, and cultural
awareness.
- Attendees are expected to dress modestly and appropriately, in accordance with Omani
customs.
2. Research Integrity & Intellectual Property
- Plagiarism, falsification, or misrepresentation of research findings is strictly
prohibited.
- Attendees must respect copyrights, trademarks, and confidential information.
3. Ethical Communication & Professionalism
- Discussions and presentations should be conducted with professionalism and courtesy.
- Hate speech, offensive remarks, or inappropriate language will not be permitted.
- Respect for diverse opinions and perspectives is encouraged in all conference sessions.
4. Compliance with Omani Laws & Regulations
- All participants must comply with local laws and venue regulations.
- The possession or use of prohibited substances, including alcohol, is strictly forbidden
at the event.
- Unauthorized photography, recording, or sharing of restricted materials without consent
is not allowed.
5. Responsible Networking & Engagement
- Networking and business interactions should be conducted in a professional and
respectful manner.
- Aggressive solicitation, unauthorized marketing, or disruptive promotion is not
permitted.
6. Reporting Violations
- Any breaches of the Code of Conduct should be reported to the event organizers for
appropriate action.
- Violators may be subject to removal from the conference without a refund, in accordance
with event policies.
